special - a live concert special. The show takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on November 18, 2001. Britney will sing with Cher on the Sonny and Cher tune The Beat Goes On. Britney recorded a remake of the tune on her first album. According to the Associated Press, Britney said, "I really want this to be shocking and edgier. This show will be an event. It's going to be to the next level as far as stunts." Spears also said, " I want to do things that people have never seen before - I don't want to be considered a role model."
