On their second album, Pretty. Odd., Panic at the Disco have traded the exclamation point in their techno dance sound for a few happy, historical, musical treats. And it works.

  • After six months of writing and recording in Nevada, Panic scrapped all of the work they had done because they didn’t like the direction the album was going.
  • To market Pretty. Odd. Panic at the Disco had puzzles and contests on their website including hidden song titles and short music clips.
  • Panic at the Disco dropped the exclamation point from their name early in 2008, but say they never really considered it part of their name in the first place.
