We dug for treasure in Kai Meyers pirate-packed Shell Magicians novel. Read our review to see if we found any!
Author: Kai Meyer
Jolly and Munk are a pair of 14 year-old polliwiggles, people with magic power over water. They and their terrifying monsters from different dimensions! All it needs is a few robots and a pack of ninjas for ultimate awesomeness.
Drowning at Sea a5z1u
There's a lot of drama in this story, but you miss some of the impact unless you've read the first novel. The ending will also leave you hanging without the third book in the series. There's also a scene with the poet bug that's really, really cheesy.
The Bottom Line y58e
Yar-har! This book will keep you glued to the pages as the fantastic adventures lead Jolly and her friends from the far reaches of the sea to the court of a cannibal pirate king and beyond. It really helps to read the first book, and you'll be left craving the third, but it's a fantastic read and you won't regret it!
