Most of the spooky stories about terrified teens that I've perused have not given me goosebumps. (At least not like the daily news does!) So when I picked up Witch Hill, my spine wasn't prepared for the tingling it was about to get.
Out of the fire and into the frying pan, Jamie Fraser is spending the Halloween dreams, Jamie gets all sleuthy and tries to solve a century-old witch mystery. As it unravels, Jamie is forced to confront his worst [kwlink 2052]fears to escape the whole history-repeating-itself thing.
Witch Hill compelled me to read on (mostly cuz it's well written!) until (and this is my only complaint,) the last twenty or so pages. It was then, that the fire Mr. Sedgwick had fanned to a spooky flame, sputtered, cackled and died.
