Children International has been helping children and their families living in poverty since 1936. Through their sponsorship program, they help kids in 11 countries - Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, the Philippines, Zambia and the US - with basic needs such as food and health care. Children International and its , Sahay, are working together to try and solve poverty through education. Through the help of generous donations, Children International has distributed 18,000 textbooks, valued at $450,210, to schools and colleges in Kolkata, India. Of that donation, 800 books will be donated to the Government College of Art and Craft to serve as reference books for students studying science, math and arts and crafts.How You Can Help 183b6f
