Knitting Your Scarf 6q2c73

Step One: In your left hand, hold the needle with the cast-on your scarf reaches the length you want.

Casting Off 1q6s17

When you are finished your scarf, you have to cast off so that your scarf doesn't unravel.
Step One: Knit two stitches.
Step Two: Push the tip of the left needle into the bottom (first) stitch and lift it over the second stitch.
Step Three: Let that stitch fall off the needle.
Step Four: Knit another stitch and do the same again. Keep doing this until you only have one stitch left.
Step Five: Cut the yarn so that you have about a six-inch tail remaining. Pull the last stitch gently with your fingers so that it becomes a bit bigger. Now pull the end of the yarn through that loop. You can now remove the needle and pull the yarn tight! You've just finished your scarf!
