Hunted by bad guys, separated from his friends. It really helps get you involved in the story, especially the twins Sophie and Josh. But it's just a tiny slowdown and the action will still keep you glued to the page!

Most readers won't notice, but if you're a big historical names show up in this story, but the author is really sketchy on detail. There are also so many characters that you can get confused if you don't start with the first book - The Alchemyst.

When you start reading this book, make sure you buckle up! It's a high-speed ride with mountains of action, adventure, drama and maybe a little screaming. A few spots seem sketchy, but most of the story is awesome and you'll fly past everything fast enough that you'll hardly notice. And, when you're done, the preview chapter of the next book in the series, The Sorceress, will leave you wanting more!
