Kidzworld reviews Jishaku, a magnetic strategy board game.

Jishaku, which is the Japanese word for twist. Magnets have north and south poles and a magnetic field, so they'll attract some and repel others. Since the goal of this game is to never let the magnets touch, you'll have to strategize your every move - and how you use magnetic force will determine the outcome of the game! Comes with 18 polished magnetic stones, a storage pouch and a foam game board.

Thumbs Up 2k2v3t

  • A game of skill and strategy - you have to use your brain and think about your every move (your parents will encourage you to play all the time!).
  • Constant element of surprise - you'll never know when a bunch of magnets will attract and jump out of position, making you jump out of your chair!
  • Play it anywhere.
  • When you're not playing Jishaku, you can invent new games with the magnets.

Thumbs Down 234u6q

  • You have to be careful where you store Jishaku because the magnets can demagnetize credit cards, computers, etc.
  • The magnets are a choking hazard for your younger sibs.
