Mario Lemieux to 'just say no' to Team Canada. They want the superstar to skip the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City so he'll be healthy for the Pens once the playoffs start. Mario has already been named captain of Team Canada so he has a very tough decision to make: a chance at Olympic Gold or a shot at another Stanley Cup.
While Mario decides his Olympic future, the Olympic torch is on its way to Salt Lake City. The flame began its relay on December 4th from Atlanta. Boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, was the first person to take the torch. The torch will change hands more than 11,000 times before the start of the Winter Olympics on February 8th. It will travel through 46 states and cover more than 13,000 miles.
