Beethoven movies and I think it’s one of the best.
Sindy:: Who do you play?
Moises:My character is Billy and he’s the son of an animal trainer who works on a movie. I find Beethoven in a park and I bring him home where he destroys the house. My dad gets mad and wants to bring him to the pound but then the director wants Beethoven for the movie!
Sindy:: Was it fun working with animals?
Moises:The dogs were amazing, it was great to work with the trainers too. There was one scene where they had to put chicken baby food on my face so Beethoven will lick it off!
Sindy:: Do you have any pets?
Moises: I do, I have a shih tzu and a toy poodle at home and I also have a cockatoo.
Sindy:: Any crazy animals on set?
Moises: Yeah there were ferrets, raccoons, opossums, all sorts of birds, monkey! That was awesome.
Sindy:: Did you do your own skateboarding stunts in the movie?
Moises: I did do some stunts, but not those 360s off the stairs. I can olley, kick flip—simple stuff, no super quadruple crazy stuff. It was cool though, ‘cause I got to meet a skateboard already but no one on set knew.
Sindy:: Joey Fatone from N Sync was in the movie, did he give you any advice on dealing with crazy fans?
Moises: He did, I actually rode around with him and got to see firsthand how he interacts with fans and he’s so nice—roller coasters together and I met his daughter—he’s a totally cool guy.
Sindy:: [kwlink 133]Do you have any fan stories of your own?
Moises: Yeah, I’ve had like 10 cars follow behind me and airport security has had to lead me onto the goldfish in a bag!
Sindy:: Ha, awesome! Who are YOU a fan of?
Moises: Jack Black is awesome, I love School of Rock and I got to do Nacho Libre with him so that was fantastic.
Sindy::I saw some homemade movies you did on YouTube. Is Moiswashere your name?
Moises: Yeah, my brother and I are making movies. We’re working on one called Motocross Madness and it’s a funny, stupid movie that we directed, wrote and lit. I love working with my brother, it’s easy to improvise with him—we wanna do like a Coen Brothers thing.
Sindy:: Awesome, and how’s it going with the Hannah Montana movie?
Moises: We’re editing it right now, it’s going to be great, I think everybody’s going to love it.
