Some students in scanners that can recognize kids' faces. The scanners use a special technology called biometrics, which is also found in [kwlink 1724]fingerprint scanners. They speed up things like taking attendance, but some experts don't think they're a good idea because the computers store a lot of personal information, which could end up getting into the wrong hands.
