There was high hopes for Sony last year as some people were wondering if 2009 would be Sony's year with major games being released. Expectations fell short, however, but the buzz is building again for this year as exciting rumors spread about new Sony hardware.
The most anticipated announcement is for the PlayStation 3 Slim. Both the original PlayStation and PS2 got a freeze before then.
Another big hardware announcement that is expected for E3 is that for the PSP Go!, the next generation of the Gran Turismo Mobile, which has been in development for a long time, will finally get an announcement and a release date.
As for software, the long awaited Afrika game, by the creator of PlayStation Eye.
