I’m trying to convince my mom not to give my dog away. We’ve had her for a year. Please help me – I don’t know what to do.

I’m so sorry – this is a tough situation. I have a dog.
You could also try telling your mom that you will take care of the dog at least twice a day, even if you have to get up extra early before school. You’ll have to be in charge of feeding her and making sure she always has clean water to drink. You’ll also have to train her so she behaves well around the house and so your mom has no reason to get frustrated with her.
If you promise your mom that you’ll take care of the dog, it’s time to act very mature and grown up and show your mom you’re old enough to take care of a pet and to help out around the house.
