A Clear Blurr is made up of four recent high school grads with a penchant for pop punk. Tom Kenney (vocals/guitar), Karl Pearson (bass), Cole MacDonnell (drums) and Kevin Nicotera (guitar and vocals) grew up together and were heavily influenced by bands like finding your first love.

A Clear Blurr isn’t just about partying and having a good time—the band also recognizes the importance of giving back to their community. A Clear Blurr helped raise money for a scholarship fund set up to honor a friend who ed away in April 2009 and began an annual music festival in Edison, New Jersey. The Town Council of New Jersey also recognized A Clear Blurr for their dedicated community service, making them the first rock band ever honored by the city.

You’ve heard the sound of Trigonometry before—crunchy riffs and power chords are abound here, but if you’re a fan of radio friendly emo, you’ll probably enjoy the saccharine sweetness of tracks like Being Around You and Barely Breathing. A Clear Blurr also slows it down with the last track, Tinted Blue and you’ll find more than enough emotional lyrical content to lay in your bed and sigh to. In the end, Trigonometry is all about having fun and staying positive while trying to make the best of a broken heart.
