Check out Kidzworlds movie of review Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones! Does it live up to the hype? Starring Hayden Christensen & Natalie Portman.
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones has been unleashed into theaters and it's filling the screen with Jedi Knights and some of the best looking sci-fi scenery ever. Star Wars Episode II clocks in at two-and-a-half hours long and has action, romance, intrigue, clones and Yoda kicking serious Sith butt. Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones starts off years after Star Wars Episode I. Anakin (Hayden Christensen) has grown from a pint-size Jedi Knight wannabe into a full-size Jedi Knight wannabe. Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) is a Jedi Knight now, Anakin is his Padawan apprentice and Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman) is now Senator Amidala. There are a few really cool things about Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The fight scenes are loaded with Jedi Knights and have lots of Ice Age.
The weakest scenes in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones are the ones with acting and drama. The whole Anakin-Amidala relationship doesn't have much chemistry and Hayden Christensen makes Anakin come across as a whiny kid. I'd like to find the guy who recommended he audition for this role and give him a smack.
If you're looking for a fun sci-fi movie with a load of references to the old Star Wars movies then this is a good flick for you. If you're expecting this to be the a better movie than Spider-Man, you're gonna be disappointed. It's not worse - it's just not better.
