During her visit, Birdie discovers the most Fairy Godmother-in-training, learning about her remarkable gift from a team of fairies and her own adventures. At her side is another soon-to-be-Fairy Godmother, Kerka, who Birdie meets in Aventurine, the magical world that exists in Mo’s garden.
The Bottom Line y58e
The Fairy Godmother Academy #1: Birdie’s Book by Jan Bozarth is great for girls who love fairies and magical worlds. Unfortunately, the story is confusing at times. Some of Birdie’s thoughts and dialogue are a little unrealistic and corny compared to other books written for the same YA audience. It’s not the best book out there, but if you’re a fairy lover then this may just float your boat.
