The fifth audition continued in Dallas, before the judges headed to Nashville for the sixth and final round of auditions. And then, Vegas week began and the dancers competed for one of 10 spots on the So You Think You Can Dance stage.

Dallas opened with Ida Saka, an 18 year old of Iranian decent who stunned the judges with her unique ability.


Next came the comic relief. Connor a.k.a “Clay Aiken’s little brother (a joke that “Scooter Rocket” didn’t understand).


The next competitor was Nicole Knudson—a girl who's very proud of her big, frizzy hair. But she should be more proud of her dancing. The judges said that talent like hers only comes once every 100 years. Talk about a compliment!


The judges were a little on edge when Marcella Raneri stepped onto the stage. And rightfully so, given that her father was a former mobster! One minute her family had everything, and the next they had nothing. And Marcella had to work in order to pay for her dancing.


Next, 26 year old Jordan Johnson (a former Vegas.

When the judges headed to Nashville, they found nothing but disappointment. Only seven dancers made it to Vegas. But there was one bright side to their stay in Nashville—Brian Gaynor. He was born with robotic dance style.

In Vegas, many promising dancers were sent home, including Teddy Tedholm, the Charlize Theron look-a-like, and so many others. Two slipped through after dancing for their lives, leaving only 58 dancers left in the competition.
