In the film, Andy is now 17 and he’s heading off to attic for safe keeping, they’re mistakenly donated to Sunnyside Daycare, where, on first inspection, their futures look bright. The other toys welcome them with open arms and there is a constant stream of kids to play with. But first impressions can be deceiving.

Instead of lighthearted make-believe, these preschools seem to be unleashed from the evil underworld. They paint! By the end of playtime, the classroom looks like a war zone. Somehow they have to reach the classroom where the gentle kids play, or escape Sunnyside for good. But when some new friends turn against them, escape seems impossible.
