E3 2010 Review 234h5r

Jun 20, 2010

If you were out of the loop last week, you've got some major catching up to do, my friend. Luckily, we've got you covered with this quick recap on the major announcements from E3 2010.

Microsoft 321y4c

If you've been shopping recently, you may have already seen the new Xbox Slim, which is out right now with a $299 model and a $199 model that has less memory. The slim is replacing the Xbox 360, which are no longer made (once they sell out, they're gone forever!). Project Natal, the no controller motion control system for the Xbox is now called Kinect and lots of games were shown for it. It is coming out in November.

Nintendo y3d5q

It is pretty safe to say that Nintendo won the show with the very cool and very exciting Nintendo 3DS, the next-gen handheld device that lets you play games in 3D without the need of special glasses or anything! Don't worry if you recently got a DSi, as there hasn't been an official release date given out yet for the new system. Along with this, new Zelda, Kirby, Kid Icarus, and Donkey Kong games were announced.

Sony 5d3g2x

Move, will be coming out in September with various bundles available. Sony also revealed 3D for game and TV with 3D technology. Little Big Planet 2 was announced among many other games.

Everything Else 5k2f2i

Some cool sequels coming out this year, including Super Scribblenauts, Final Fantasy XIV, Sonic 4, and Metal Gear Solid: Rising. As well, some really neat new stuff is in the mix, including Child of Eden, which has for Microsoft's Kinect, and Shaun White Skateboarding, which brings in some really awesome changes to the skateboarding game genre.

Be sure to check out all the articles that came out last week. Share your excitement, disappointment, and other thoughts in the comments!
