The best day of 12 year old Goldie Roth’s life was upon her. She would be released from the guardchain that has been secured to her wrist all her life. She would be free to walk the outcasts. Goldie seeks refuge from the Blessed Guardians who are pursuing her, and learns the ways of the Museum. But there is trouble brewing beneath the surface, trouble that could destroy the entire city.

The Museum of Thieves by Lian Tanner is the first book in the Keepers Trilogy. The story is so cleverly crafted and well-written that any YA reader would have trouble putting it down. The Museum of Thieves is one of the best YA books of 2010.
