Super Mario Part II has arrived. No, it's not the latest game for your playstation - it's the return of one of the greatest hockey players ever.
After three and a half years of retirement, Stanley Cups.
He may be a little rusty, but it's not like Mario's just been sitting at home playing video games and eating Doritos for the past three years. Mario is now the owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins, which means he's actually paying himself to play hockey. It also means he can fire the coach if he doesn't like him, or trade his team mates if he doesn't think they're pulling their weight. Mario says he won't be doing any firing or trading. He says he'll just do what he does best - score goals and the puck.
If that happens, you can expect the Penguins to be favorites for the Stanley Cup this year. Just like a video game, Mario 2001 might be better than past versions.
