The start of the snowboarding season is weeks away (unless you ran away from home and are living on a polar ice cap,) but that doesn't mean you shouldn't start thinking about what gear you're gonna buy. Here's a look at some great boarding stuff from Burton.
Burton Snowboarding Gear - Boards 4g5712
Burton has two lines of boards for kids this year - the Chopper and the Punch. The Chopper is a little more forgiving of a board that is great if you're just learning and don't want to spend your first day on the hill with your head in the snow. Both boards were designed with the help of kids and are built to stand up to your worst wipeouts. Each costs between $130 and $200 US.
Burton Snowboarding Gear - Backpacks 6u1x1r
Burton's Youth Day Hiker is a fully loaded backpack with board carrying straps, a sound pocket for your CD player and school as well. The Youth Day Hiker backpack costs around $50 U.S.
Other Burton Stuff 4a5u5k
Besides boards and backpacks, Burton also has a full line of boots, bindings, jackets and just about anything else for young riders. The Project 13 line was designed by guys who want stylin' boarding gear that keep them warm, comfortable and mobile, so they can concentrate on landing their favorite boarding tricks. The Trinity line for girls features socks, fleeces, beanies and and other boarding stuff, that are specially designed with colors and styles for very funky Buffer or Phase for guys.
