Sony gets into the motion controller trend, but will this sports collection move you or make you snooze? Check out the Sport Champion PS3 Game Review.

PlayStation Move, the new motion controller for the PlayStation 3. There are six different sports in the game: Volleyball, Table Tennis, Disc Golf, Bocce, Archery, and Gladiator Duel. You can play all of these games with the single controller included in the bundle, but some are better with two controllers and you won't be able to play against a friend in your living room in real time until you get another controller.

While there are only six sports featured in Sports Champions, some have variations that makes things more interesting. For example, there is a Gladiator Duel, won't keep your attention for too long. First of all, you need two controllers in order to fully appreciate this game (but you can play it with just one, it's just not as good). Secondly, the graphics are a bit plain and not exciting at all.

Accurate Movement 5b2og

The Move controller is very good, being able to detect movement quite accurately. Only the Table Tennis game seems to slip a bit. But for the most part, you will find yourself shooting arrows and throwing frisbees better than you might in real life.

As mentioned before, the graphics are a bit boring and this goes for the characters as well. You can unlock things in the game, but it just never seems exciting. Don't expect to impress your friends too much or to get them into the party mood with this game. Still, as a bundled game and as one of the first games for the PlayStation Move, it plays without any problems and is enjoyable.
