Hudson. The game is essentially a puzzle platformer. You play as a shadow boy who is helped by a sprite to manipulate objects in the "real" world so that their shadows will allow the boy to continue traveling up a huge tower.

There is very little in of story in the game. A captured boy at the top of the tower gets his shadow removed. The shadow is then tossed all the way to the bottom of tower and wakes up, only to have no memories. On the way up, the shadow will regain sprite that can manipulate various objects and change how their shadow is cast. In order to proceed, you must find three monitor eyes hidden in each of the game's 60 levels.

Tricks of Light 711t2a

Overall, the game is very interesting and is worth experiencing. However, the story is very light and gives no real motivation to keep playing the game. Most of the game's tricks are revealed early on, making the majority of gameplay pretty boring. There is some chores. However, the mechanics of the game, the music, and art is really awesome and definitely makes the game worth a second look. If only there was a compelling story to tie everything together and to make the game more interesting to play through...
