Trevor Dahl comes from Portland, Oregon, a hotbed of musical creativity, no wonder he realised he likes to write and sing. By sixth grade Trevor had already written his first song, a girls – write long songs for them – “Look what I wrote you….” He says he probably wrote at least 40 love songs about his feelings for girls before he realised he could write anything else, a true romantic girls.

As for Plug In Stereo, Trevor says it all started three years ago in his bedroom , he was in what he called a “hardcore” band in high school, and started Plug In Stereo almost as a test to see if he could write sensitive romantic songs…and could he ever! As for the other band “We were called Genosa,” said Trevor, “We didn’t even win our high school battle of the bands!”

Plug In Stereo has been signed to Triple Crown Records, and Trevor hasn’t stopped for a moment since. He’s already performed at Warped Tour in his home town and started touring around the U.S. And even more exciting, his full length album, Nothing To Something, is due out this April! And of course, Trevor will tour again! Trevor recently released the single Plans, and before that his song “Oh Darling,” a beautiful duet he sings with fellow young indie singer Cady Groves. Trevor told a magazine what he wants:"right now, the only thing I want in life is for people to hear my music," says Dahl. "I grew up playing in bands, but was tired of the fake, closed-minded attitudes that a lot of kids my age shared. I always had my solo/acoustic music on the side, so as I got older, my style and sound changed to a more honest and organic approach."
