Kendré burst onto the music scene this year with his debut album You Look Like A Nerd. But if you think he looks familiar, you’re probably right, it may be his debut album, but 19 year old Kendré is no stranger to the spotlight. You may already know him from the TV show Girlfriends, but it’s time to get to know him all over again!

From a young age Kendré DeQuan Berry was showing his parents that he was meant for the stage. At age 2 he had already taken up the drums and by 3 years old was crowned "Cover Boy USA" in the America's Cover Miss/Cover Boy Pageant. His parents were both performers as well, his mother was a stage actress and his dad dabbled with stand-up comedy, so their son`s talent for making people smile and performing was no surprise to them. Their family was based in Flint, Michigan, but that didn`t stop Kendre from entering competitions to get on TV all across the country.

When he was 7 Kendré entered a Bill Cosby competition on theNickelodeon show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. The rest is history, with Kendré getting a regular spot later on with the sitcom Girlfriends and also with Six Feet Under.

Along the way Kendré realised that music was a huge ion of his and so he went to work making his mixtape Who`s That Nerd, which spread like rapid fire. People loved his smooth mixing of R&B and rap with a little bit of humor. His debut album You Look Like A Nerd is out now, and Kendré has been making sure people hear it, he just opened the Long Beach Step Show alongside acts like Cee-Lo Green, Snoop Dogg and Far East Movement.
