Carol despises the socialite lifestyle of Manhattan, and she wants everyone know it. When she discovers that her daughter is in Manhattan, shopping with Serena, she puts an end to their trip in the Big Apple.
After kissing Dan Humphrey, Blair spends and entire week in bed. The feelings for Blair, and he thinks that her calling their kiss “life-changing” means that she likes him too. But he later learns that the kiss made Blair realize that Chuck is the one for her.
