A lot of talent showed up for this week’s New York auditions. The first “yes” of the night went to the Smage Bros. Riding Shows - a motorcycle stunt duo with a dangerous act. After them, the judges seemed to be handing out tickets to Vegas left, right and center. We met the Sally Gould Dancers, a dance group made up of 11- to 13-year-old girls; Dylan Andre, a 19-year-old singer with a fantastic voice; and Shemika Charles, an 18-year-old limbo expert.

Next, we met a returning contestant named Leonid the Magnificent. Leonid, a drag queen, was rejected by Piers and David Hasselhoff on season’s 1 and 2, and planned to give up show business forever. But after four years, he returned to the stage with a slightly different act - quick change. He and his assistants were a little clumsy, but his overall performance was extremely entertaining. And with Howie now sitting in David Hasselhoff’s chair, Leonid managed to secure two votes and a ticket to Vegas!

Rachel Zamstein, a 26-year-old singer, took the stage next. After battling with electric guitar she sang her heart out, but Howie felt like she was holding back. Piers offered her the first yes, which Sharon reluctantly followed, earning her a golden ticket.

The show wrapped up with two strange, yet entertaining performers. The first was Narcissister, who came onstage wearing masks on the front and back of her head. Then, when she did a hand stand, we discovered another head and mask between her legs. Yes, it was as creepy as it sounds. Lastly, 32-year-old Sam B performed an energetic dance. Sharon called him barking mad but she loved his act. Even though he wasn’t “talented” in the true sense of the word, he made the judges laugh and earned a ticket to Vegas.
