- Masters: David Cohen used a Reshiram and Emboar Deck, with Magnezone for draw and Rayquaza & Deoxys Legend for prize lead. This deck uses Emboar’s ability to attach unlimited Fire Energy to any Pokémon, thus powering up both the Reshiram and Rayquaza & Deoxys Legend.
- Seniors: Christopher Kan ran a Reshiram and Typhlosion Deck, where Reshiram is the main attacker and Typhlosion is there to help with energy acceleration. This deck is powerful because Typhlosion can bring back the discarded Fire Energy so Reshiram can Blue Flare turn after turn!
- Juniors: Gustavo Wada used a Yamega, Magnazone, and Kingdra Deck. This deck is powerful because Yamega has free retreat and free attacks, Magnezone has draw power, and Kingdraw can use Sea Spray to add 10 damage to any Pokémon.
