Christmas is the perfect time to reconnect with family and friends. So get into the holiday spirit and try some of these fun Christmas party games at your festivities this year! With most of these games, the bigger the group, the more fun they'll be!
Where is Santa? 1a2y1v
Everyone sits in a circle. One person is selected to be Rudolph and must leave the room. Someone is secretly selected to be Santa. When Rudolph returns, Santa must discretely wink at people without being detected by Rudolph. Those who are winked at must say “Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!” The game ends when Rudolph identifies Santa. Make the game even more fun by giving a prize to every winner!
the Present 36334y
This is similar to hot potato, only with a Christmas present! Before playing, wrap a small gift several times in wrapping paper. Then have an adult play some music while everyone es the present around in a circle. When the music stops, the person holding the gift gets to unwrap a layer of wrapping paper. The person who unwraps the final layer wins the gift!
Christmas Charades e1w30
Divide into two teams. Players from each team will take turns acting out a Christmas carol, movie or character. Use an hourglass, stopwatch or timer to add some extra pressure!
Pin the Nose on Rudolph 5s2r3d
This is the Christmas version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Find a poster of Rudolph (or make one yourself). Blindfold each guest and have them attempt to stick (with tape!) a round piece of red construction paper to Rudolph’s nose. The person who gets the closest wins a prize!
Secret Santa 1w172r
No Christmas party is complete without a Secret Santa gift exchange! Prior to Christmas, have everyone who will be attending your party draw the name of another guest. Decide on a limit for how much you can spend (usually $10-$15). At the party everyone can open their gifts. It’s up to you whether you reveal who purchased the gifts or not.
Gift Grab! (a.k.a The White Elephant Game) 6t5t6l
This is a fun variation on the traditional Secret Santa gift exchange. Instead of buying a gift for a particular person, you purchase something general like a mug, gift card, chocolates, etc. At the party, each guest picks a number out of a hat. The person who draws #1 chooses a gift first and they unwrap it. The person who drew #2 can either steal the gift from #1 or unwrap a new one. The person who drew #3 can either steal from #1 or #2, or unwrap a new one, and so on. A gift can only be stolen twice.
