Audition #1: Savanagh, Georgia 1f1p53

Day 1 in Savanagh, Georgia, delivered a ton of young talent including 17-year-old David Leathers Jr. (also known as “Mr. Steal-Your-Girl”). He beat World Series; and siblings Schyler and Colton Dixon.

The judges met some interesting characters in Savanagh, including Shaun Kraisman, a terrific Ryan Seacrest impersonator, and 24-year-old Amy Brumfield, who currently lives with her boyfriend in a tent in the woods.

Audition #2: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 645z6x

Audition #2 took the judges to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for the first time in American Idol history. There we met some stand-out talent, including the wacky Creighton Fraker, who made up his own audition song during his long bus ride from New York. Other amazing singers included 15-year-old Eben Franckewitz, who resembles DJ; and 24-year-old Hallie Day, who overcame a drug addition.

Audition #3: San Diego, California  2a6d49

On Sunday, the judges moved on to San Diego, California, were they met young mom Ashley Robles, who shined with a Whitney Houston song; rapper Alexa Shields, who appeared on the Ellen show; and 19-year-old frat boy Kyle Crews, who had the best male voice the judges had seen so far. Last but not least, Jim Carrey's 24-year-old daughter Jane auditioned. She wasn't great, but the judges put her through to Hollywood anyway.
