Meanwhile, Serena is trying to ruin Blair and Dan’s relationship from the other side. She convinces Dan that Blair chose Chuck - even before she did - and seduces him. It’s not until afterward that Dan notices Serena’s phone, recording the whole intimate encounter. Disgusted by Serena’s constant meddling, Dan leaves. He asks Georgina for help with his new book about Manhattan’s elite. Meanwhile, Serena skips town.

Meanwhile, Bart is pursuing a relationship of his own. Since Bart isn’t dead, he and Lily are still legally married. Now Lily must choose which marriage to annul. Rufus’s marriage, which is already on the rocks; or her marriage with Bart, which was on the verge of ending when he “died.” Ultimately, Lily chooses Bart.
