When you do , there are 25 new trajectories that you can put on the ball. You can choose to put the ball in front of your target and force them to reach for it or put it above the receiver and get them to jump for it.
Just like receivers, tackles and other collisions. Weight, speed, and angle will affect how a hit looks. While there may be some awkwardness, the animation overall is very good. The presentation of the game also helps to make the whole experience more realistic. Expect lots of replays, an interactive crowd, primetime intros, and better commentary. Overall, this year's Madden is definitely worth picking up.
