For the soundtrack of the new romantic thriller film Safe Haven, based upon the novel by Nicholas Sparks, singers Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel.
Looking all classy matchy-matchy in black and gray (including Gavin’s cute black “porkpie” hat) the singer/songwriters posed for pix and talked about working on the song which they’ve sung recently on tour and for several events.
Colbie, like so many popular artists, got her start on the internet when she was a teen by placing her music on the then popular MySpace. The artist was signed by Universal Republic and has won two Grammys for song collaborations with Jason Mraz and Taylor Swift. Her sixth platinum single “Brighter Than the Sun” hit big and she won gold status for “I Do” which cemented her as a multi-talented singer/songwriter.
Gavin, broke through in 2003 with his debut album “Chariot” which went platinum and he has since gone gold with “We Belong Together”. Songs “Not Over You” and the latest “Soldier” are hits on the AC charts.
