Crimson Dragon comes from the mind of acclaimed game designer Yukio Futatsugi. Who is responsible for one of my favorite game series of past generations, Panzer Dragoon. Most of you readers have probably never heard of Panzer Dragoon but just saying the name brings back so many good memories for me. All three main entry Panzer Dragoon games are still great to this day, (but ittedly dated) so you can imagine my explosive enthusiasm when I saw what Grounding Inc., Crimson Dragon's developers, were revealing to the world.
It was a spiritual successor to the dragon riding, aerial combat I adored. But this time it's all wrapped up in a slick next-gen package.

Next-Gen On-Rails cz4l
Crimson Dragon is an "on-rails" shooter, which means you don't have full control over your direction. It's like a roller-coaster. You're almost always moving forward with the ability to slow down or speed up as well as move around the screen, corner to corner. This allows you to focus on the environments, enemies and your aiming while the dragons hurtle you forward on a thrilling adventure. Because you don't have to worry about the flying itself, you're able to turn the camera to face behind you and engage with enemies that are sneaking up from the back. You're always having to pay attention to your surroundings, 360 degrees.
You can lock on and fire at enemies even if they're behind you.

The sky for an epic battle to save the world. Over the course of the adventure you'll be thrown you into a variety of beautiful but hostile locations, each offering their own unique and challenging end boss. Will you emerge victorious?
