To celebrate the return of the movie that gave voice to a whole generation, Disney has teamed up with the voice of a new generation, Grammy®-nominated music superstar Carly Rae Jepsen, to record a new version of The Little Mermaid’s beloved song “Part of Your World,” which will appear as a music video on the Diamond Edition Blu-ray™ Combo Pack releases.

Animation has come a long way since The Little Mermaid hit theaters in 1989, especially when it comes to underwater adventures - just take a look at Carly Rae Jepson singing one of the movie's most famous songs - "Part of Your World," as well as a behind-the-scenes look at Jodi Benson (who originally sang "Part of Your World" and has played Ariel's voice since the very beginning) in "Part of Her World: Jodi Benson's Voyage to New Fantasyland." The only downside of owning The Little Mermaid is getting those hummable songs stuck in your head for days.
