Sequels are so often a disappointment, that this new installment in the Thor series is an unbelievable breath of fresh air - Thor: The Dark World is in many ways even better than the first film. Digging into the story between Thor and his brother Loki (a favorite character for tons of fans), this film sees these supernatural siblings teaming up to battle some serious villains. Staying true to the title of the film it is visually very dark and moody, setting the tone for the film the whole way through. Visually one of the best Marvel has created The Dark World.

Apart from providing the lush imagery, The DVD + Blu-ray has some worthwhile extras, for example if you're a fan of the brothers relationship the 30 minute featurette "A Brother's Journey: Thor and Loki" take a close and personal look at what drives the brothers by talking to actors Captain America flick (without it giving too much away of course). Thor: The Dark World can take you to a whole new universe from the comfort of your couch - definitely worth taking home.
