Yup! Sorry about that everyone, I've been under the weather a little. But I'm back with some more retro tunes from the NES that have stuck with me over the years. Can you believe It's been 4 months since our last Kidzworld fans.

The first Zelda game released for the NES, the Legend Of Zelda's title theme, composed by Koji Kondo, is one of gaming's most recognizable themes. Ninja Gaiden always featured great music as a series, even rivaling the music from the Mega Man games for some fans. The below, sweeping piece of music is one of just many stand-out compositions from Ninja Gaiden II and to this day, takes my imagination to some pretty cool places.

From Rare, the game developers that went on to create the Wii U. Also...the last minute of this track is just filler, so you can skip the end after the first 1.5 min or so.
Fun Fact: Battletoads was originally created to rival the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games.

From the long running and well known Castlevania series, Vampire Killer was an easy one to include as it's widely considered to be a masterpiece of the NES era. 6 seconds of epic, memorable, classic music from one of gaming's oldest series, Pac-Man. Sorry, The Names Jesse! Toshio Kai kept it short but sweet!

Naruto200 suggested music from Super Mario Bros. 1, 2 or 3. When it comes to choosing just one song to highlight from the incredible Super Mario Bros. series, it has to be the Main Theme from Super Mario Bros. The second song featured from composer Koji Kondo, Mario's title theme isn't just a famous tune amongst gamers, but its catchy melody is recognized by non-gamers alike. Some have never played a Mario game in their life and would still recognize this wonderful 8-bit track.
Hands down one of the best songs composed for the Nintendo Entertainment System and a piece of music that will forever be ed and loved.
