1Tony Hawk
Was there any doubt that Tony would be on our list? In 2002, P!nk to be his girlfriend. The guy's definitely cool enough to make our list!

1Kelly Clark
Her high-flying heroics in the halfpipe earned Kelly Clark a gold medal in snowboarding at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. With Blink-182 pumping in her minidisc, Kelly pulled off 720s, 540s and Mctwists and took female snowboarding to new heights.

1Mat Hoffman wrote another chapter of BMX history in 2002 when he landed a no-handed 900 at the X Games. That's two and a half turns, with no hands! Mat was also one of the main dudes on Tony Hawk's Boom Boom HuckJam and Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 was one of the best extreme sports games of the year.

1Shaun White
With his wild mop of red hair, high-flying Shaun White was skating and shredding all over the place in 2002. The 16 year-old rode his skateboard with Tony Hawk on the Gigantic Skatepark Tour and won two medals for snowboarding at the 2002 Winter X Games. His double extreme duty makes it impossible to leave him off this list.
