One Directions latest album Made in the A.M. features the singles Drag Me Down, and Perfect - find out more in the Kidzworld Review!
One Direction leave at the height of their careers on a high note?Luckily for fans, the answer is yes. Instead of relying on the kinds of songs they've done on past records, the band has put together a showstopping fifth (and perhaps final) album that shows that they're at the top of their game, and growing as music makers. They're moving away from the "boy band" sound and exploring retro music by dipping into disco, 90's Brit pop (check out the opening number "Hey Angel") as well as the ballads and folk-inspired pop they're known for ("If I Could Fly" and "Perfect," are good exampes.) True to their message from the start, One Direction's lyrics are still about fairy tale romances, with just a hint of bad boy humor.
Whether you find it nice or cheezy, the final track "History," is an obvious goodbye song for fans, the energetic shout-along song gives us hope that this isn't the last we'll hear from One Direction - even if they've decided to go different directions for now.
