Xbox is ready to make some big changes. Taking the loss to PlayStation 4 from the beginning of this generation, Xbox is ready to make good on the promises from last year's E3. But that's not all they'll show, rumor is that they'll open with Scorpio confirmation but that leaves a lot of room for games. Let's see their attempt to take back the crown.

We can ditch the codename Project Scorpio as it's official that the new Xbox One X. They're making the most powerful console ever and the smallest Xbox that's available for purchase on November 7th, 2017 at a $499.99 price point.

Releasing on October 3rd, 2017, the new Forza Motorsport 7 will keep up the series' tradition of 60 FPS and a high resolution. With Xbox One X we'll be able to play the new game in a 4K resolution. Check out the gorgeous new trailer below!

Following Forza Motorsport 7, we saw a ton of games and some huge surprises.
Kicking things off we saw our first look at Metro: Exodus the follow-up to Metro Last Light and Metro 2033, the new game seems to be exclusive to Xbox. Take a look at the new trailer.

Following Metro, we saw our first look at the new Assassin's Creed -- which has taken a year off since 2015's Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. Taking players to Egypt, we saw a chunk of gameplay showing off truer Eagle Vision -- with an actual eagle like Far Cry Primal. Showing off more competent shooting with a bow, and slightly changed combat, gives evidence that Assassin's Creed: Origins has matured since previous games. Here's a look at the new trailer!

The biggest surprise is the much anticipated PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds coming to Xbox One. This online shooter drops 100 players into battle empty handed and has been in early access on PC -- a console release is very much appreciated. Here's the new trailer from Xbox.

When Xbox bought Mojang, Minecraft's developer, many gamers were afraid that Minecraft would suffer on platforms that weren't Xbox. Well, Minecraft is becoming unified and allowing cross-platform gameplay with PC, iOS, Android, and the new trailer even shows off a Nintendo Switch (no word on PlayStation 4.) All platforms will be getting 4K textures, upgraded texture packs for graphics, and that's all available on any console.

Backward Compatibility Grows 1c6s1z
Last E3 Xbox announced their plans to offer backward compatibility on the Xbox One by allowing Xbox 360 titles to be played on the console. After making hundreds of games compatible Xbox has taken it a step further, titles on the original Xbox are going to be playable on the Xbox One. The service is going to be kicked off by a game that Phil Spencer is constantly hounded about, Crimson Skies.
More games will be added throughout the year.

We saw a lot of games at Xbox's show, and a lot of them with release dates. Ori and the Will of the Wisps had no date, sadly.Tacoma out on August 2. Super Lucky's Tale and Crackdown 3 on November 7. Cuphead on September 29 (finally.) But the star of the show was from EA to close out Xbox's event. Kicking off E3, EA's conference showed off a handful of great looking games but one of the most interesting ones was saved for Xbox. BioWare's Anthem is a crazy game you need to see to understand.

Flying, shooting, and exploring the sci-fi open world as "freelancers" stole the show with BioWare's new game. Nothing concrete has been said about the release date but word is spreading about a possible 2018 window.
