The Biggest Shows and Movies Coming to Disney+ 712z4x

For the longest time, if you wanted to stream a Disney movie or show, many of them were simply found on Netflix. Recently though, it seems that every other brand is getting their own streaming service and that will soon include Disney with their new app, Disney+. Disney’s library of series’ and movies are at least large enough to justify the price in addition to a bunch of new projects coming exclusively to the platform. Here are the most exciting movies and shows coming to Disney+

Classics Old and New 2l5x6o

It is hard to deny the value of having dozens of older Disney classics, Pixar films, Marvel movies and shows and every Star Wars movie in one package. Before, it was a gamble whether or not a particular movie or show you want to watch will be streaming but now, you’ll be able to get it all in one place. From some of the most seminal animated works like Sleeping Beauty, Bambi and Snow White to modern ones like Moana and more. Disney+ wants to make it easier to enjoy these films again and again without the fear of them being taken down from Netflix, Hulu or anywhere else.

Toy Story 4, all these new movies and more will be available to stream exclusively through Plus.  

 

Star Wars and Marvel 3t5y6x

Like the other streaming options out there, Disney+ promises to have a ton of original content as well including some pretty big names. After Rogue One’s Cassian Andor and K-2SO will all hit Disney+. The Mandalorian will be available as soon as the service launches. Marvel is also putting a ton of focus on the platform, with a series based around our favorite God of Mischief Loki, one following one of Marvel’s favorite couples WandaVision starring Scarlet Witch and Vision, and another starring The Falcon and The Winter Soldier following the events of Endgame. No spoilers here of course, but if you have seen that movie, you know big things are in Falcon’s future. These are not the only Marvel projects that will hit the platform though so stay tuned on Kidzworld to learn more as they are nearing their premieres.

Other shows and movies coming include High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Monsters at Work which takes place after Monsters Inc. and Be Our Chef which is a reality cooking show that is being done at Disney World. Many many more projects are set to hit Disney+ to ensure a wide selection of different options to choose from. The Phineas and Ferb movie, Ink and Paint a series about the pivotal role of women in creating some of your favorite Disney classics, Togo, a look into living in the harsh wilderness of the Alaskan tundra and more will all arrive within the first couple years of the platform’s launch.

In addition to all the other works, the wide range of shows and documentaries created by the world-renowned National Geographic will appear on Disney+. This inclusion will help diversify the selection of titles available by giving us their signature look into the world, cultures, wildlife, history, and more. The downside to this, though is that you can expect the Nat Geo programming already available to watch elsewhere will slowly begin to dwindle which will be the main downside of this service in general. A lot of the content you enjoy watching now on places like Netflix and Hulu will slowly but surely be making their way over to Disney+, leaving mainly originals and different movie selections to enjoy over there.
