Jun 20, 2020E3 2020, unfortunately, had to be canceled this year due to COVID-19, but the game announcements keep coming anyway. EA hosted another EA Play event where they teased some new games, additions to old favorites, and the return of one of their most fan-requested game series.

Visionary director Josef Fares is back with another game after his first two titles, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and the prison escape game A Way Out. His next game is called It Takes Two. It is a co-op game just like A Way out, where you play as two living dolls made by a young girl dealing with her parents’ divorce. This is something that many kids can relate to, and a subject that requires a lot of care to get right. It is a tough subject, but games are a great medium to talk about uncomfortable things in unique ways.
It Takes Two is sounding like an emotional journey.

Lost in Random wouldn’t be out of place in a Tim Burton creation. It is about a magical six-sided die with the power to break a curse. The dark and dreamlike atmosphere is all over this game, and it is coming out next year in 2021.

Two teams of three compete in a rocket-powered competition where combatants hurl rockets and cannonballs at one another in vibrant and colorful arenas. The team-based hero shooter market is crowded, but maybe Rocket Arena can carve its own identity thanks to its unique map design and characters. It comes out next month on July 14th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The maps are the standout of Rocket Arena.

After the Star Wars: Battlefront 2, but the campaign should help ease new players into the space battles. The best part is, the entire game can be played in VR, and the fighters' first-person cockpits look fantastic. Squadrons comes out on October 2nd.

The Return of Skate 4k2c4t
The most exciting announcement of the stream was the confirmation that Skate is coming back. Whereas Tony Hawk is more of an arcadey feel, Skate tried to emulate the challenges and satisfaction of real skateboarding. No word on when we’ll see Skate 4, but more updates will hopefully come soon.
Skate tried and succeeded at simulating more realistic skateboarding gameplay.
