One of the coolest things about the demo that viewers can't quite see is how the game uses the brand new DualSense controller's new features. The haptic and adaptive triggers make the game even more immersive, bringing your hands closer to the action. Weapons fire differently depending on how hard you push down on the trigger:
"Take the Enforcer for example. This double barrel shotgun has multiple fire modes. Pull the trigger halfway and it fires a single shot. Squeeze ed the first stage and you will unload a double barrel blast instead!" -PlayStation Blog
It was previously reported that you couldn't take your current PS4 controllers into PS5 games, and features like this are why. The next-gen games are going to use the new technology to enhance games in ways that were not possible before.

Luckily, once the PS5 finally releases, fans won't have to wait too long to get their hands on Rift Apart. The game is dropping within the PS5's "launch window" which means it will come shortly after the console itself.
The new game takes Ratchet and Clank across the multiverse.
