My mom thinks I don't "talk to her enough." She is usually pretty cool about stuff like letting me do stuff and all that but is it wrong if I don't want to tell her every intimate detail of my life?

There is nothing wrong with wanting to a have a little privacy when it comes to sharing your life with your mom. But it's also perfectly your mom think you have something to hide. Arrange to have a mother-daughter afternoon or evening once a week. If you make an effort to spend some quality time with your mom once in a while, chances are she'll lighten up about the small stuff and give you some space. Good Luck!
