Fox Television will attempt to answer these questions with Man vs. Beast 2, a series of sports challenges between humans and animals. Kidzworld checks out some of these Man vs. Beast challenges, as well as some other match-ups we'd like to see.
Long Jump - Human vs. Dog 466o29
Bryan Clay, an All-American long jumper, currently training for the 2004 Olympic decathlon will challenge Morgan, a black Labrador who holds the record for longest jump at the ESPN Outdoor Games. Morgan jumped 23 feet, 4 inches at the Outdoor Games, while the longest a human has long jumped is just over 29 feet.Predicted Winner: Morgan, the black lab, pulls off the upset and wins by an inch.
Tree Climbing - Human vs. Chimpanzee 5129g
In a contest of speed and agility, champion tree climber Kap Teo-Tafiti faces off with Jacob the chimpanzee in a race to the top of a 40-foot palm tree.Predicted Winner: Chimp beats the chump to become the champ.
Relay Race - Humans vs. Camel 5w1o32
This is probably the strangest of all the Man vs. Beast challenges. Five midgets will group together and try to defeat a six foot tall, 1,500-pound camel in a 400-meter relay sprint.Predicted Winner: Camel wins by several lengths. Two of the six midgets get trampled to death by the camel.
Underwater Breathing - Human vs. Dolphin 6z4c5o
How about holding a contest to see who can underwater for much longer than a minute. However, the world record for underwater breathing is just over eight minutes.Predicted Winner: Dolphin wins easily. Human ends up drowning.
Eating Contest - Human vs. Black Bear 2g333
A top eaters would give a black bear a challenge. Competitive eater, Eric Booker, recently wolfed down 12 pounds of cheesecake in six minutes.Prediction: Human defeats bear by eating two more chicken wings.
