During a game between the Kansas City Royals and the Chicago White Sox at Comisky Park, two shirtless, tattooed baseball fans jumped out of their baseline seats and attacked the Royals first base coach, Tom Gamboa. William Ligue Jr. and his 15 year-old son have said that Gamboa flipped them the bird so, according to their messed-up logic, he "had it coming." They jumped onto the field and jumped the first base coach from behind, kicking and punching him. The entire Royals team left the dug-out and jumped on the spazzing fans before Gamboa got too beat up. William Lingue Jr. has been charged with assault. If Ligue doesn't end up with jail time, I hope he's a hockey fan. I think he'd learn his lesson if he tried to jump Florida Panthers' coach Iron Mike Keenan or Phoenix Coyotes' assistant coach Marty McSorely.

Three CFL players from the Edmonton Eskimos managed to escape from their burning apartment building and then caught a women as she jumped from the burning building. Kick returner Winston October, running back Ronald Williams and defensive end Rahim Abdullah all lived in the apartment building that was burning, and after making it out safely, they saw 24 year-old Teri Mcleod hanging out a window, ready to jump. The Edmonton Eskimo players rallied and caught Teri as she jumped, saving her from some potentially serious injuries. Hey, these guys can live on my block any day!
