More abilities = more strategy.
Tournaments let you play to win prizes.
The game figures are nearly indestructible. It's hard to use the basic troops.

A lot of the new characters rock, but the basic troops can be hard to use at first. The battle droids are weak without commanders to boost them up and the clone troopers are a bit too powerful for basic troops.
