  • When Raman Kia moved to New York, he was introduced to songstress, Leona Naess. Leona nicknamed Raman, Buddahead, which he chose as the name of his band.
  • When Raman Kia was nine, his dad sent him to live with his mom in England, where he attended a Roman Catholic boarding school. It was here that he was forced to choir as a punishment.
