Simon might have gotten a dog a small pet. We went and picked her up yesterday at the pet store and she is soooo cute. Oh yeah, she's a chinchilla and her name is Penelope. And, she is all mine! I don't have to share her with Amy which is so great.
Yeah, I've never actually had water and food part but I don't totally know what else I should be doing. She's small and I can hold her when I want, but for the most part she's supposed to stay in her cage. Mom's still a little worried that she's going to wake up in the middle of the night with Penelope crawling across her face. Moms can be so dramatic.
I still haven't had a chance to show Penelope to Kaelin - I think he's really going to love her. I think A.J. would really love her too but she's still to study, so at least I'll be able to show her.
I have this make-shift cage for Penelope right now, but I guess I should buy her a real one. I wonder if the people at the pet store could help me pick stuff for her. Probably. Do any of you have a chinchilla? I know they're a little exotic, but I just didn't really want a hamster or anything like that. if you have any tips!
